Homework Club

  • A supported, one-hour session offered twice a week, designed to help students stay on top of their academic responsibilities.
  • For grades 5-11. Get help with assignments, organization, and test prep in a supportive environment.
  • Drop-in Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 PM and/or Thursdays 3:00-4:00 PM.
  • Snacks provided! Because learning is better with a treat
  • Advance registration required – Just $20 per session.

Meet the Tutors

Rebekah Waterson

Rebekah Waterson is the owner of Bright Stars. She is a dedicated math tutor and executive functioning coach with a passion for empowering middle and high school students to succeed both academically and personally. With 18+ years of experience in education (10 years in the middle school classroom), she specializes in making math accessible and engaging, ensuring that each student builds a strong foundation.

In addition to her expertise in mathematics, Rebekah understands the critical role of executive functioning skills in student success. She provides personalized strategies for organization, time management, and focus, helping students develop essential skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Rebekah believes that every student has the potential to thrive and works closely with each individual to create a supportive and motivating learning environment. With a commitment to fostering confidence and independence, she is dedicated to guiding students toward achieving their academic goals.

When Rebekah isn’t tutoring, you can find her at the beach with her two boys, hiking, biking or generally exploring with her husband, Andy, or curled up with a good book.

Katie Fallon

Katie Fallon has been teaching for 10+ years. With a Master’s in teaching, she has experience in lower elementary, middle school and high school.

Currently she is teaching at the middle school level. Katie is passionate about helping young learners foster a love of reading and develop self confidence in their math abilities.

Katie develops a relationship with each student to find the best strategies for their individual learning styles while incorporating things they enjoy into each session.

In addition to helping students with reading and math, Katie takes time each session to work with students on organization and executive functioning skills.
